Healthy Weight and Living Foods

You bet living foods make a difference when it comes to reaching your healthy weight. Great merits are attributed to raw and living foods. Let's examine a few ways in which the living food lifestyle set itself apart from the other eating styles and diets in general.

First Difference:

No need to count calories, grams of fat or carbohydrates

The difference between raw and cooked food is enormous. All the studies linking fat to obesity, cancer, heart problems, kidney problems, high blood pressure, high levels of blood cholesterl and cardiovascular illness were done with cooked foods. Raw fats of plants have the opposite effect. The fat contained in plants (avocados, olives, or coconuts, for example) are essential to any balanced diet. These plants provide enzymes, antioxidants and fats necessary to bones, joints, and nerves.

The fats found in plants that are not heated do not cause weight gain (when consumed as part of the whole plant and in sensible amounts) because they are accompanied by the enzyme lipase, which facilitates digestion and assimilation by the body. They are therefore less likely to end up accumulating in blood vessels and clogging arteries, causing all sorts of degenerative diseases.

You will not gain weight when you eat raw avocados or sprouted nuts (in reasonable amounts, of course!). When one starts to eat raw and living foods, usually there is a certain amount of weight loss. The reason? The foods eaten being whole, unheated (and therefore not denatured) are assimilated correctly by the body because they are accompanied by the proper enzymes, instead of being accumulated.

When you begin to eat raw, don't deprive yourself! Go ahead full throttle! As long as the food is raw, the enzymes contained in it will aid in assimilation, be it proteins, carbohydrates, or fat. You will notice that in the beginning when you start to eat raw and living foods, you have to eat more. The food, although more nutritious, is not as heavy in the stomach as cooked food. The feeling of being full (satiated) is not felt in the same manner when we eat raw and living foods than when we eat greasy or cooked food. The body, this marvel of adaptability, won't take long to make the adjustments. In fact, you will eventually require less food because the food you will eat will be that more nutritious because it is raw, unheated, living food.

Second Difference :

The freedom

Raw and living food satisfies all our body's nutritional requirements, eliminating in one swift stroke, the cravings and urges to eat this or that food. Living food offers freedom to its proponents No other diet can say the same thing. You will have more energy, better health and natural beauty as rewards for eating raw and living foods. You will be free of the tyranny of "food". Say "Good riddance!" to that flab!

Eat raw and living food, that is a beautiful way to regain your healthy weight. Furthermore, as seen above, it requires no keep track. It offers freedom from roller-coastering from diet to diet. What more can you ask of a healthy lifestyle regimen?
