Men and Living Foods

Male-gorilla-eats-raw-vegan-foodFollowing a most hilarious conversation on men, divas and living foods, I couldn't resist the temptation to write an article specially for them. Or at least about them. Oh! Men! We love 'em... But...But...

A man that wants to transition to raw and living foods will encounter more adversity than a woman. Poor thing. Sort of like a man's flu is sooooo much worse than a woman's, right? A man... he is manly and eats meat to be manly, no? A virile... vegan? Nah! Impossible!

Impossible, you say? Check out the strapping fellow just on the side here. He is a vegan (okay, so he munchs on the occasional bug, but who would want any?). He is a raw foodist (100% no less!). And nobody would dare say this guy look like a female!

Women on diets, you see them by the dozens all around you everyday. Maybe you are one of them. A man eats steak and fries, not salad. A man drinks beer with his friends, not lemon water. A man has stature, robustness, he is not skinny, slim or willowy. Come on!

So our poor guys have it reeeeaaaallllyyyy tough when they switch to raw and living foods. What good reasons could we provide them that would help them carry on? What moral boost could we give them to help alleviate the torture of coworkers, family, friends? We women, are sensitive to your suffering guys! Here are a few choice arguments you can sling a those who would stand in your way...

1) The first important impact of switching to a plant-based diet will be the disappearance of all those oestrogens in his diet. For a man, that constitutes quite the advantage since he no longer has to combat the female hormones so prevailant in animal products these days. So, no more female  hormones, hence more male! Great, no? And the only thing that changed was the elimination of animal products.

2) Another advantage to switch to living foods is on blood circulation. It will be more efficient, healthier, since there will be no more artery clogging fats to slow it down. Blood... circulation... I don't have to draw you a picture, do I? Another good point for our raw guys!

3) Yet another plus that all passionate living foodist will notice is the increase in energy this lifestyle brings. Once a man ceases to pollute his body with toxins of all sorts, he will have more energy that he can then use to be more physically active, for example. And what muscular man won't make our little hearts flutter wherever he goes? Not to mention that healthy glow that will seduce more than one lady....

So you see men, living foods can be just as manly as you would like. A few will experience excessive weight loss at the beginning of their transition towards raw and living foods. What is needed is to pay more attention to food intake and most likely, to exercice a bit in order to build muscle mass (maybe some weight-lifting would be a good idea!). Go gradually. Transition at your own pace instead of going full throttle and lose so much weight you look like death reheated wandering around...

A man transitioning to living foods... Manly? Oh yeah!!!!  Hurray for us, lovely and vibrant raw women!!!
