Raw 101 - Attitude Towards the Diverse Approaches to Raw & Living Food
Have you noticed the divergent viewpoints in living food? Can you make sense of any of it? Who to believe? Have you made up your mind on the subject of living food? My own view on the subject: "Raw 101: Introduction to living food". Go have a look-see if you haven't already.
So what's a raw fooder to do?
R-e-l-a-x!
And why not? Go with the flow, just this once, and abandon yourself to the pleasures of raw.
Raw foodism, or the living food diet if you prefer, is not a finality. It's more of a journey, a continuum one might add. There is no finish line that marks the perfect living food diet for everyone, not even for one's self. Like so many other things in life, living food come to us like a journey to be undertaken, where the path traveled is just as important as the motivation behind it. To progress, to modify our living food diet according to the seasons, to the years passing by (yup! even for raw fooders!), to the changing climate and to our evolving tastes (it has to nourish us more than physically): there lies all the interest of living food.
Few people dive into the raw food diet 100% and never change a thing along the journey. Our knowledge is often limited in the beginning. We might want to try out the raw food lifestyle for a while before investing money on expensive and sophisticated equipment. Some start full throttle and simplify later on. We all have different personalities. And given that our bodies are getting rid of pollution, that famous detox, our tastes will evolve: we come to like, and even crave, foods that previously didn't appeal to us. A nice evolution...
So, take a deep breath. Relax. The living food diet is flexible and adaptable. Easy and fascinating. Beautiful and attractive. Why complicate things? Make living food your continuum.
Next time, we'll address evolution.
Flexible hugs,
